On this page you can find out a little about the ladies of the the group! 

This is Janet Cannon aka Pretty Simple.  She is the lead clog dancer for the group.  She also sings, claps, square dances and plays the kazoo.  She is learning to play the mountain dulcimer.  On top of all that she puts up with Joe Bob! 

On the right is Amanda Shearin, aka Amandolin Simple.  Amanda clogs, sings, claps and plays the kazoo.  She is learning to play the mandolin in her spare time and is a new mom!  Needless to say, she doesn't have much spare time right now.

Karen, Janet and Amanda are shown here at a show at the Page Farm Museum at the University of Maine in Orono.  You haven't met Karen yet. 

Karen Dresser aka Ima Simple is our Emcee.  She clogs, sings, claps, plays the kazoo.   She can tell a pretty good joke too.  She is married to Ben. 

  Admirally Simple is Cindy Lee.  She is a clogger, singer, and clapper.  She plays the kazoo and spoons.  She is married to Per. 

Finally!  We have a photo of Lorraine Bloodsworth, better known as "Shurley Simple".  She is an awesome singer/vocalist and plays a mean autoharp.  It took a while to get her picture for  the wanted board because she is always singing her heart out with her mouth wide open.  She finally stoped long enough for us to take her photo!
