Welcome to The Beecher Boys 'n Girls Hillbilly Band website.  If you have ever heard us before, that's just too dang bad for you.

Originally from "Beecher", Maine, we are the Simple Cousins.  We worked up at the Tool & Dye shop making precision tools and dyes.  They are one of our biggest sponsors, so if you ever need any precision tools, remember "Beecher Tool and Dye".

Located in the Greater Bangor area, we are a fun-lovin' bunch of slack-jawed Hillbillies that perform all kinds of music along with comedy that will knock grandma's dentures into last week's 'coon and 'possum stew.

We perform such music as "Don't Hit Your Grandma with a Big Stick", "Slimey River Bottom", and our most requested song, "I Don't Look Good Naked Anymore".

We will have yah laughin', crying, and beggin' for us to stop, as we perform our hillbilly replica of ol' fashion Bluegrass toons, Comedy, and a bunch o' other musical styles.  We don't claim to be good at it but we have a heap o' fun doin' it!

   We started as a bunch of back woods farmhands  getting together to pick a little music and tell some jokes and to see who could tell the biggest lie.  (So far, Paul-Bob is winning).  We had so much fun the clan just grew and grew until now we have about 15 of us who do this just for the fun of it. 

If ya like foot stompin, hand clappin bluegrass country music and singin, fiddle playin and banjo and bass pluckin, getar and mandolin strummin', perdy girls cloggin, wacky jokes and zany storys then you need to get yurself to one of our shows.

Ya'll come early and pull up a bale o'hay cause the barn yard gets fulled up mighty quick.  Just don't slip on the chicken feed.  An' watch out fer them pack mules, they give a mean kick.  Why our cloggers git their feet ta jumpin' like grasshoppers on c-ment on a hot summer day.  And the music!  Oh my, oh my, it just tickles ya fancy.  Makes ya wanna hoot and hollar.  So come and laugh, clap and stomp.  And if ya are the lucky one?  OOOOHHHH mercy on you!!!!!!!!!  Bring a friend, bring yar fambly and join in the fun.
